For those that want to hear more about how this business can absolutely change your life, I wrote you letter. Read on...
Fellow Dreamer,
Of course you want to succeed in business and work on the dreams that have really mattered to you all your life.
But, maybe you’re confused, a little scared, and likely frustrated. You need need a win! And, you need someone you can count on for no-nonsense mentorship and information.
That’s where I come in. I am a serial entrepreneur that tried and failed 26 times with various businesses and ventures before I found the mobile notary and loan signing industry.
Over the course of the years, and flops, I’ve learned exactly what works, and what doesn’t work in business.
Keep reading and I’ll tell you exactly how to get started and what to expect in this business. It doesn’t matter how many times you’ve tried and failed before. You CAN do this business!
The first thing we have to do though is help you understand what it is your up against here. This is the resistance you are facing as you break the chains of mediocrity and venture out in another business of your own.
Part of the resistance we experience is our own stubborn addiction to strategies that do not work.
Look, I know how it feels to try and fail (multiplied by 26!!). I know the shame that comes with not being able to take care of your family and pay your bills. I snapped that picture above when I was two months behind on rent, had a negative bank balance, $7 cash in my pocket, and an electricity shut-off notice in my hand. I know how embarrassing it is to get everyone around you excited about your idea and business only to have it flop and leave you grasping for a paycheck anywhere and everywhere you can.
It sucks.
And...you are NOT your past. If you want success in this, or any other business, you have to forgive yourself and others for previous misgivings, mistaken judgements, AND their resulting effects. File those lessons away and keep ‘em handy! You will need them for your new adventure as a mobile notary and loan signing agent.
Yes, this is a pretty easy business to get into. Every state is different about their notary requirements, but many of them don’t even require training or testing. It’s also relatively inexpensive to get started.
With the barrier to entry so low, many people just jump in and go, without the proper training. This doesn’t work! It’s time to break the cycle. Doing the minimum to get started, and just winging it, or half-assing it, isn’t going to make your dreams come true.
If different results are desired, different action is required. On behalf of the entire country (as notaries public, we are public servants to the people of our respective states), and your notary peers, I urge you to step into your greatness and own your new business.
A Notary Public serves a critical role in mortgage and identity fraud and we’re often the last line of defense. This work matters!
Plus, we are often called to serve on the best days of our client’s lives, notarizing documents associated with adoption, marriage, and new home purchases or refinances. And, we are also called to serve on their worst days, notarizing documents associated with divorce, illness, and end of life.
Wouldn’t you want to be trained so YOU could be a beacon of light and the expert notary that makes all the difference to the people who are counting on you?
Boy did I learn this lesson the hard way. When I first started, I was like a bull in a china shop, thrashing around, barely learning as I went, and making a whole lot of money along the way. More money than I’d ever made before, as a matter of fact.
But, like I told you, I was a serial entrepreneur and I had 5 other little ventures I was “passionate” about at the same time. And I took my money and ran! If this little venture needed some cash, I went to my notary business and hustled for it. If that little opportunity needed some marketing, I ran to my notary business again.
I treated my mobile notary and loan signing business like an ATM machine.
How do you think that felt to my clients and customers?
They could tell I was in this for all the wrong reasons. Plus, I couldn’t be of maximum service to them when one foot was out the door.
I had forsaken the number one rule in this business:
Relationships are everything.
I was lucky enough to realize my mistake in enough time to save this mobile notary business. And, good thing I did because those other five little ventures completely failed. So, without this little business, I would have been running back to another call-center job (Nooooooooo!!).
Let’s face it. If you’re here reading this letter, you’re ready for a change.
Maybe life has punched you in the face a few times. Or, maybe you’ve played life so safe you’ve never taken a punch before and you’re ready for the thrill of victory, or even the agony of defeat.
One thing is clear, doing what you’ve been doing isn’t working. Results, while often harsh, are always fair. If you aren’t getting the results you want, it’s time to change the activity that gets you there.
Lucky for us, success leaves clues. Others have what you want and have done what you want to do, and they’ve left a trail to follow. Consistently putting those actions and behavior into practice will change your life forever.
Habits and routines are everything…
There is this weird belief that some people are born with something special that makes them successful. Many of us believe that some people are just born with everything all figured out. This simply isn’t true-especially in business!
That’s not how success works. The successful ones around you, whether you know them personally, or only watch them in the media, were in your shoes at one time or another. They had to figure things out.
They too had to flail around a bit.
They too had to fail.
That’s part of the “becoming”process, and you have to always and forever be the student. It takes time to become who you want to be in this world, and it is often through the challenges that we learn the most.
That’s why I have adopted the Japanese philosophy of Kaizen-constant, continuous, improvement and I include this strategy in my course teachings.
We can’t get to where we want to go, or get the results we want, or, most importantly, we can’t be who we want to be, without putting in the work. We have to get in the arena, taking the hits, learning the lessons, and pushing through.
Honor the struggle. No struggle, no progress.
Use your extra hour to focus on you and your dreams. Write it out, visualize it, make a plan, and start implementing it. Your dreams matter too!
You literally have the experience and perspective of some of the most brilliant people in the world, through all of recorded history, at your fingertips. Cut back on TV and add a chapter of reading each night. Better yet, turn off the music in the car and turn your commute into a university on wheels.
Not that you need it, but I give you permission to dream big again. Sometimes, when life has just kicked us right in the you-know-what a few times, we get a little gun shy. We start slunking down in life, slowly letting go of our hopes as we retreat to the quiet comfort and security of a regular paycheck... and our family’s approval. Meanwhile, our joy and self-confidence slowly fade to black...
All the big movements, inventions, businesses, books, and other creative masterpieces, were created because someone dared to keep dreaming...and doing.
Let this be you!
You’re on a mission and your mission is important.
It’s time to take action and move on your dreams. And part of that movement MUST be exercise. Trust me, I never thought I would be the one preaching about exercise. I’ve never really been a fan of sweat, and I’ve struggled with my weight my whole life.
But, one of the things I’ve learned is that movement and exercise is about more than sweat and weight. It’s about energy and longevity.
When you dream big, it’s going to take a lot of energy to make those dreams happen, and your body must last if you’re going to see this through. Your dreams need you. Your family needs you. The world needs you. So you must take care of yourself.
If your body fails, the mission fails.
At an event last year, a young lady from the audience stopped me in the hall. She had tears in her eyes, and I thought something was wrong and she needed help.
No, instead of calling for help, she wrapped her arms around me and gave me a hug. And all she said, for the first few minutes, was “thank you.”
You see, she had lived her car just 11 months prior to that meeting. Life had punched her right in the face, and then kicked her when she was down. Desperate, yet hopeful, she happened across my channel on Youtube.
From that free content, and a commitment to learning and self-improvement, she built her life back, through her new business as a mobile notary and loan signing agent. She had a house, an office, a new car, and confidence and joy like she had never experienced before.
She literally went from homeless to six-figure mobile notary and loan signing business in less than one year.
The three strategies I just laid out can work for you too. This isn’t rocket science. This is psychology, science, relationship marketing, and motivation-human motivation (That’s you).
I know they work, because not only do they work for me, and hundreds of my students, but they work for thousands of other people too.
Your situation is not unique. Your “yeah, buts” are not bigger and better than anyone else’s. More importantly, your situation is not hopeless...at all.
There are still real businesses that work without having to learn e-commerce, or recruit teams, or sell products, or...work for other people.
These starter-strategies will help get you in the mindset to take on your dreams. These lay the foundation for learning a new business that:
Gives you flexibility with your schedule. Now you can do what matters most to you.
Gives you the opportunity to earn unlimited income. You work, you get paid-no limits.
And, I think this is the best part, this is a legitimate business. You serve a critical role in the prevention of mortgage and identity fraud.
How about that?
This process varies by state, but you can start with the Secretary of State’s website.
This allows you to specialize in documents within the mortgage industry, which gives you enormous earning potential.
This is the meat and potatoes, folks. Spend your time and resources here, learning how to be exceptional at your work. Your clients value competency.
Remember what I said earlier- you have to become a successful business person because you are not born that way. Forever be the student!
This is also the section you’ll learn where to find the clients that will PAY you to work as a mobile notary and loan signing agent. Can you believe there are hundreds of these companies all over the country?
Man, I love this business!
You know what happens when you fail at 26 different businesses? Besides crying a lot over luke-warm beer and stressing out about bills, you learn what doesn’t work. More importantly, you learn what does work when growing a business.
Most of the businesses I’ve started or worked in have been, well, diverse. To name just a few, I’ve started a:
What I am good at, is lateral thinking. All that means is I can take information or material designed or applied in one industry, and I can re-purpose it and apply it to a different industry.
And that is exactly what I did with the mobile notary and loan signing business.
I took all the lessons learned from 26 different business adventures, with all their mini-successes and ultimate failures, and I applied the very best to my business.
This included strategies like:
Did you catch those last two?
Yup, throughout the years of experience in business, as well as reading dozens of books each year, and attending a ton of seminars and workshops, I’ve also learned and integrated specific breathing and meditation techniques into my mobile notary and loan signing business.
I teach these in my courses and books too.
This business is about more than just knowing how to sign, date, and stamp a piece of paper. This. Work. Matters.
So, let’s do this together.
I offer an online course that you can start anytime and go at your own pace. Or, I have a book you can read that outlines the whole process too.
Which one works for you?
I know you hesitate to even hope that this is the real deal. You’ve been let down before. I get it. I was in your shoes not so long ago. And, I am grateful every day that I found this business when I did.
This business has changed my life, and I know it can do the same for you.
If you choose the Sign & Thrive Notary Training Course and Community, you’ll be taken to a special landing page that will give you a few different options to purchase the course (Don’t worry, I made this as affordable as possible!).
If you choose to purchase the book, “Sign & Thrive: How to Make Six Figures as a Mobile Notary and Loan Signing Agent,” you’ll be taken to Amazon where you can purchase either the Kindle E-book edition, or the soft cover edition (or both, of course).
The course will obviously allow me to go into tremendously more detail than the book can handle. Still, I wrote the book to be fairly comprehensive, so if you want to start there, you can make significant headway without having to buy the course too. It’s designed to be a stand-alone book.
Whatever you choose, I know you’ll find the strategies, resources, and support you need to take this leap.
If you buy the Sign & Thrive Notary Training Course and Community and decide for any reason that it is not for you, cancel within the first 30 days and I will refund your money, no questions asked.
I am in this with you, as well. My course comes with unlimited coaching and mentor calls, so I can be booked at your convenience. Take advantage of these calls. I LOVE talking business!
I am confident I can help you start and grow your new mobile notary and loan signing business. I know you can reclaim your agenda with a more flexible schedule. I know you can start earning the money you deserve. And I absolutely know this is a business that you can be proud to work in.

PS- Will this business solve all your problems? Probably not. Can it help? Absolutely!
Listen, I struggled in this business just as much as I did the others. The difference this time was the application of the knowledge I had accumulated, and how consistently I applied it.
Even midway through this business, again on the brink of ruin because I didn't honor relationships, I was able to turn this ship around and 20X my revenue, deepen my relationships, and increase my confidence exponentially.
You already know there is something more for you than paying bills and working for “the man.” Would you rather be exhausted working for “him,” or working for yourself?
Will you be kicking yourself if you don’t trust your gut just one more time?
If ever there was one more business to try, this is it. The barrier for entry is low and your services are needed.
Think of all the times the average American needs a Notary Public:
I love how much we can be of service, and I have a feeling you do too. If you think this is for you, you have to make the decision. I can’t do it for you.
But, I can definitely help. Both the book and the course have resources to help you out from start to finish-even if you have no idea where to begin.
And, if you get stuck, and need mentoring, I include all my contact info inside the book and course so you don’t have to go through this alone.
